How Transparency in Schools Benefits Parents and Students
When we talk about transparency in education, we’re not just talking about sharing information—we’re talking about building trust between parents, students, and schools. Transparency ensures that parents are informed, involved, and empowered to make decisions that are in the best interest of their children. Without it, parents are left in the dark, unsure of what’s happening in their child’s classroom or how decisions are being made.
I’m Rachel Librach, and I believe that transparency is the key to creating an education system that parents can trust. As your representative on the El Dorado County Office of Education Board, I will advocate for open communication between parents and schools, ensuring that every family has access to the information they need. Whether it’s about curriculum updates, student progress, or school policies, parents deserve to know what’s happening in their child’s school.
Transparency doesn’t just benefit parents—it benefits students, too. When parents are informed and involved, they can support their child’s learning at home, address challenges early, and work in partnership with teachers to help their child succeed. By fostering transparency, we create a more supportive and collaborative educational environment where every student has the opportunity to thrive.
Call to Action: Support my campaign, and let’s bring transparency to every classroom in El Dorado County. Together, we can create a school system that parents trust and students benefit from.
