Empowering Parents: Rachel Librach’s Commitment to Transparency
As a parent, nothing is more important than being fully informed about your child’s education. We trust schools to teach our children, but that trust is built on the foundation of transparency. Without it, parents are left in the dark, unsure of what’s happening in the classroom, and unable to advocate for their child’s best interests. That’s why I, Rachel Librach, am running for the El Dorado County Office of Education Board with a clear mission: to make transparency my top priority.
Transparency isn’t just about information—it’s about trust. It’s about ensuring that parents are involved in every decision affecting their children’s education, from curriculum choices to school safety policies. Parents should never have to guess what their children are learning or how schools are addressing challenges. When schools and parents communicate openly, they can work together to support student success.
As your representative on the El Dorado County Office of Education Board, I will advocate for open communication channels between schools and families. This means regular updates on curriculum changes, clear reporting on student progress, and accessible forums where parents can ask questions and share concerns. I will fight to ensure that schools are transparent in their policies, practices, and decisions, so that every parent has a voice in their child’s education.
My commitment to transparency goes beyond mere rhetoric—it’s a promise to listen, to act, and to make sure that you, the parents, are always informed and involved. Together, we can build an educational system where trust is at the forefront, and where students can thrive in an environment that reflects the values and concerns of their families.
Vote for Rachel Librach and let me be your voice for transparent and accountable schools. Let’s build a future where parents are empowered and students succeed because of it.
