Transparency: The Foundation of Trust Between Parents and Schools
For any partnership to succeed, there must be trust—and trust can only be built through transparency. This is especially true when it comes to education. As parents, we entrust our schools with the responsibility of educating and caring for our children. But that trust can only be maintained when schools are open, honest, and transparent about the decisions they make, the policies they implement, and the curriculum they teach.
I’m Rachel Librach, and I believe that transparency is the foundation of a successful education system. As your representative on the El Dorado County Office of Education Board, I will fight to ensure that every parent knows exactly what’s happening in their child’s school. Parents deserve to be informed about everything from curriculum changes to safety policies to student progress. When schools are transparent, parents can actively participate in their child’s education and work in partnership with teachers and administrators to support student success.
Transparency also ensures that schools are held accountable for the decisions they make. When parents are kept in the dark, it’s easy for schools to drift away from the best interests of students. But when there is open communication and clear information, schools are more likely to act in ways that benefit the entire community.
As your representative, I will advocate for full transparency at every level of the school system. I will push for regular communication with parents, more opportunities for community input, and open access to information about school policies and curriculum.
Call to Action: Support my campaign, Rachel Librach, and together we will build a school system where transparency is the foundation of trust between parents and schools. Vote for me, and let’s make our schools transparent and accountable to the families they serve.
