Keeping Parents in the Loop: Rachel Librach’s Plan for Transparency
As a parent, there’s nothing more frustrating than being left in the dark when it comes to your child’s education. From curriculum changes to school policies, parents have a right to know what’s happening in their child’s school. Transparency is essential for building trust between parents and educators, ensuring that families feel confident in the decisions being made about their children’s education. Yet, too often, critical decisions are made without the input or even the knowledge of parents. This needs to change.
I’m Rachel Librach, and I am running for the El Dorado County Office of Education Board with a commitment to bringing transparency back to our schools. My plan is simple: parents should be informed at every step of their child’s educational journey. Whether it’s updates on curriculum, changes in school safety policies, or decisions about extracurricular activities, parents should have clear and direct access to this information.
Transparency isn’t just about sharing information—it’s about involving parents in the decision-making process. I believe that parents deserve a seat at the table, and I will advocate for more opportunities for parents to voice their concerns, share their ideas, and contribute to the success of our schools. With open communication and accessible information, we can create a system where parents feel empowered and involved in their child’s education.
Call to Action: Elect Rachel Librach, and let’s bring transparency back to our education system. Together, we can ensure that parents are always kept in the loop and that every decision is made with your input in mind.
